About the Goat Breeder Directory
This is a utilitarian public directory of US goat breeders, organized by breed and state and compiled from public directory pages (breed association, registry, or trade publication). It is a Website Factory proof asset: 176 listings across 44 states and 17 breeds, fetched 2026-07-18, with no phone numbers or personal names in version 1.
What this is
A single place to answer "who breeds goats near me, and what breeds?" — aggregated from public directory pages (breed association, registry, or trade publication) that each hold only a shard of the picture. We list counts, not rankings: no farm is labelled “best,” because that would require editorial judgement we cannot honestly claim in version 1.
What this is not
It is not a complete census, a review site, or a marketplace. It carries no advertising and no affiliate links. It does not publish breed care advice, prices, or any fact that is not derived from the listing data or a cited source.
Who it is for
Decision-phase buyers and homesteaders looking for a breeder by breed and state, and breeders who want a free, accurate listing they can later claim and expand.
Corrections
Found a listing that is wrong or should be removed? Use the claim page — it is the intake path for edits and removals once the verification workflow launches. Until then, the data reflects the source pages as fetched on 2026-07-18.
